Priority Issues & Challenges
- Road Infrastructure — Frequent disruptions due to flash floods, erosion along the Panjkora River corridor, and poor maintenance of interior valley roads.
- Water & Sanitation Crisis — High reliance on untreated surface water and lack of structured municipal sewerage networks in major urban centers like Timergara.
- Health Facility Strain — Under-resourced public hospitals dealing with high patient volume and low per-capita bed availability.
- Education Deficits — Significant numbers of out-of-school children, with prominent gender gaps in secondary education access.
- Environmental Deforestation — Severe loss of forest cover, illegal logging, and untreated wastewater contamination affecting the Panjkora River ecosystem.
